Why the Bishop's Services Appeal

The Bishop’s Services Appeal has been a cornerstone of the Diocese of Lafayette since 1973, providing essential support and funding for ministries and services that impact every church parish, parishioner and more in Acadiana. Thousands of lives every day are served by the ministries for vocations, food and shelter programs, communications outreach, marriage and family life, grief and recovery programs, youth ministry, training for faith formation and religious education, and more. The BSA embodies the Church’s mission to serve others and minister to those in need.
By making a gift to the Bishop’s Services Appeal, you direct 100% of your donation to be used solely for the restricted purposes to support vital ministries in the Diocese of Lafayette as set forth in the brochures and webpage for the Bishop’s Services Appeal.
