We are pleased to announce the Diocese of Lafayette has partnered with The Standard Insurance Company as the carrier for employee life & disability benefits. The Standard Insurance Company will provide a one-time opportunity for current eligible employees to enroll in Voluntary Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Accident Insurance
This one-time opportunity will not only allow current eligible employees (who previously waived coverage) the chance to enroll but also, allows currently enrolled participants to increase their level of coverage.
The Standard Offers:- Voluntary Life Insurance Coverage. You can now apply for additional amounts of Life insurance, in the amount of protection you want for yourself and your family. Your insurance premiums will be deducted from your paycheck so that you don't have to worry about mailing monthly payments.
- Short Term and Long Term Disability Coverage. In the event that you cannot work due to a covered illness or injury, this benefit replaces a portion of your income.
- Accident Insurance. Pays benefits following treatment for a wide range of accidents – from minor to catastrophic, including multiple injuries.
