** Effective June 12, 2026 the following are required for Marriage Preparation **
- At minimum an introduction to one method of Fertility Awareness is now required for couples in their child-bearing years in the Diocese of Lafayette.
- An introduction consist of a course that teaches a complete, evidence-based method of NFP and allows the option for the couple to further chart that method.
- Methods approved for our Diocese are: Billing Ovulation Method, SymptoThermal Method with Couple to Couple League, SymptoPro Method with Northwest Family Services, Creighton Model, and Marquette.
